Good bob, it's been awhile since I've mentioned anything. Probably because there's nothing really to mention.  Hrm, I was in town during thanksgiving.  On the flights up and back, I changed planes in Las Vegas (lucky me, they have smoking lounges... yes, it's dirty but how else to relieve stress when you live in a shithole?)  Won five bucks on slots, promptly spent it at Taco Bell.  Some friends and I are planning a girls-only trip to Las Vegas in June, and am supposed to be in Portland sometime in April but I'm not making promises yet, I'm in the middle of buying a new car.  In other news, my birthday has just passed (it was Dec 27th, for those losers who don't know the meaning of telephone) and it was the usual fluff.  It's my fault for being born right between Christ's birthday and Dick Clark's holiday.  Worst Threesome Ever.

And of course at this point, I shall as any and all people to let me know how things are going, new years resolutions if applicable, and funny stories of the week.

I shouldn't complain.... My job offers quarterly bonuses in addition to regular salary, and I should be grateful...

But this quarter's bonus was not only late, but it sucked large.

I was planning to buy a new couch with it, but I'll be lucky to buy a couple of dining room chairs (which I need anyway, but beside the point).

Meanwhile, I miss everyone.  Life is the same as usual, except my niece is celebrating her newfound devilishness... she puked on me and then she laughed.  LAUGHED.  As if covering her darling aunt who spoils her in puke is the funniest thing on the planet.

Not bad for a four year old.

I'm embracing singledom.  It's nice.  Except for the lonely bits.

Hm, and how are you all doing?

You know, no matter how long I'm gone, the xanga beat still goes on...

Amazing.  It's nice to have a constant in life.

I've been registering for classes.  Then I have to go find a new apartment.

I LOATHE apartment hunting.

But I got a raise and that's cool.

In other news, I don't know why I'm skipping lines.  Must be a weird inclination.
